Dunlop, the premium tyre brand that has appointed AB Tyres as its exclusive distributor in Portugal, has officially unveiled the new Sport BluResponse TG summer tyre – a product engineered to deliver improved efficiency, safety and on-road performance during the warmer months.

The launch took place during an international event held at the Seville Circuit in Spain, bringing together customers, journalists and industry professionals. Attendees were given the opportunity to evaluate the new tyre across a range of driving scenarios, including braking tests, dry and wet slalom exercises, as well as assessments focused on comfort, noise levels and energy efficiency.

The new Sport BluResponse TG has been developed to meet the requirements of the latest vehicle platforms, including internal combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles. It combines a newly formulated rubber compound with an optimised tread pattern and reinforced casing construction, designed to enhance grip, shorten braking distances and reduce rolling resistance.

Positioned within the premium touring segment, the tyre aims to deliver a balanced combination of safety, comfort and efficiency for everyday driving. Among the features highlighted by the brand are reduced rolling noise, improved energy efficiency and stable performance in both urban driving conditions and long-distance travel.

The Portuguese tyre distributor, part of the Grupo Alves Bandeira, attended the launch event to reinforce its commitment to bringing the latest tyre technologies to the domestic market.
