The city of Figueira da Foz once again became the chosen stage for the Figueira Beach Rugby International and Madjer Beach Soccer Cup competitions.

Both events are part of the Beach Summer Games project, which once again had Alves Bandeira as the Official Energy Sponsor and the newcomer tyre brand Davanti, exclusively distributed in Portugal by AB Tyres.

The events took place on two different weekends, with the 13th edition of Figueira Beach Rugby International being the first event held at Praia de Buarcos on July 1st and 2nd.

Over the two days, thousands of people came to watch truly incredible games, played by a total of 56 teams (38 male and 18 female) and 900 athletes from 11 different nationalities (Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, England, San Marino, and the United States).

The 5th edition of the Madjer Beach Soccer Cup was held on July 14th, 15th, and 16th, also at Praia de Buarcos, with 300 athletes from 22 teams representing 5 countries (Portugal, England, Spain, El Salvador, and Poland) competing in three different categories: under-16, under-18, and women's.

The soccer competition ended with three portuguese victories in the different age groups, as Grupo Desportivo de Alfarim secured the victory in the under-16 category, Grupo Desportivo de Sesimbra was the winning team in the under-18, and the SandGames Figueira team became the champion of the Madjer Cup in the women's category.

It was five days of true excitement and spectacle, where besides watching the beach rugby and soccer games, the thousands of visitors could also participate in activations carried out by the brands Alves Bandeira and Davanti, and win incredible prizes from brands belonging to the Alves Bandeira Group.
